AM: Spend your day to visit Koh Ker Temple the only temple complex at the northeast of Siem Reap about 122km with a 02hours drive. it represents the remnants of the capital of the Khmer Empire from 928 AD. – 944 A.D. At the top of the temple, there are large statues of garudas supporting Shiva lingam Treypuvanesvara. Nearby, there is a 4-meter square well, now completely covered by grass. According to local villagers, if a coconut is dropped into this well, it will appear in the pond near the Neang Khmao temple. There is vegetation growing on top of the temple.

Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
In the afternoon:
On the way back to Siem Reap town, you will stop at Beng Melea Temple a sprawling jungle temple covering over one square kilometer. The temple is largely overrun by vegetation and very lightly touristed, giving it an adventurous, ‘lost temple’ feel. Photographers: trees growing from the broken towers and galleries offer some of the best ‘tree in temple’ shots aside from Ta Prohm. Constructed in a distinctly Angkor Wat style under the same king that built Angkor Wat, Beng Melea preceded and may have served as a prototype of sorts for Angkor Wat.
Return to hotel and enjoy dinner at local restaurant.

Overnight in Siem Reap, at your selected hotel.

Visitor Code of Conduct for Temple Visit:

Dress Code: Revealing clothes such as shorts and skirts above the knees and showing the bare shoulders are prohibited in scared places. Respectful dress is strongly encouraged in Angkor.
