Tour Overview

This journey is certain to surpass your expectations. Our tour commences with a journey from the city of Quito to the lush lowlands of the tropical rainforest (1148 feet / 350 meters). We then ascend to elevations ranging from (5577 to 8202 feet / 1700 to 2500 meters) to acclimate to the Andes in the charming city of Baños de Agua Santa. Finally, after completing the acclimatization process, we cap off our adventure with the ascent to the towering, active Cotopaxi Volcano, standing at (16076 feet / 4900 meters)

After breakfast, we'll transfer to the Rayucocha Ecological Primary Rainforest

Day 3: Discovering the Waterfalls Route, Trekking to Devil's Cauldron Waterfall, and Swinging at the End of the World
After breakfast, we'll journey to Puyo, also known as 'Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Pompeya de Puyo,' the capital of Pastaza province. Situated in the eastern Andes at an altitude of 3051.18 feet, this vibrant city is home to over 50,000 residents and boasts enchanting natural beauty. A must-visit spot is the House of the Balsa in the El Dorado neighborhood, where visitors can explore a variety of handcrafted souvenirs made from Balsa wood, Chonta, Clay, and Amazonian seeds. Then, our journey continues to Tungurahua province.

Day 4: The Cotopaxi volcano is one of the highest active volcanoes in the world, located in the ¨Avenida de los Volcanes
After Breakfast, travel to Cotopaxi province. During our journey, we'll make a brief stop at the Salasaka Indian Market, an ideal spot for those seeking souvenirs or hiking equipment for exploring the Cotopaxi Active Volcano.
