This is our unique "3-in-one" day tour concept: Start with a walking tour of the iconic CHARLES BRIDGE, explore Prague’s charming Old Town district, learn more about the major historical events, see famous sights like the ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK and JEWISH QUARTER, as well as the more hidden parts away from all the crowds and chaos. Then hop aboard a river boat, sit and relax while you cruise the waterways of the Devil’s canal, the so-called Prague Venice. After a break, enjoy the best of PRAGUE CASTLE – we cover castle grounds and exteriors to learn about its medieval foundation, imperial city age, world wars and communism era, to the 1989 Velvet Revolution and modern governmental democracy. Headed from tram stop "Malostranske namesti", it’s 5 minutes walk through Mostecka Street. Meeting point is MOSTECKA 4, Prague 1 - right next to the Charles Bridge on the WEST (Castle) side of river. You will find us INSIDE the local Tourist Information Office / hostel reception. Itinerary

Stop 1: 0.3 hours

ON THIS TOUR: This is our 3-in-one tour concept! As part of a smaller group with local expert guide, you cross Prague’s oldest and most iconic bridge, explore the main sights and hidden gems of Old Town district. You hear about key moments in Prague history, local stories, fun facts and interesting bits. The second part is a river/ canal boat cruise around the Charles Bridge area. After a "lunch break", you finish with the Prague Castle 2-hours long guided tour.

Stop 2: 0.5 hours

Old Town is a labyrinth of little cobbled streets, passages and hidden courtyards - on our one of a kind route, get to see both main sights and off the beaten path!

Stop 3: 0.2 hours

We tell you more about legendary reformer priest Jan Hus and the relationship between modern Czech Republic and religion.

Stop 4: 0.2 hours

The Estates Theatre was built during the late 18th century in response to Enlightenment thought regarding general access to the theatre, and theatres themselves demonstrating the cultural standards of a nation. One of the Estates Theatre’s many claims to glory is its strong link with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who conducted the world premiere of his opera Don Giovanni here in October 1787.

Stop 5: 0.2 hours

We’ll hit the "Royal Path" and see the gothic Powder Tower, that used to be one of the original city gates. It separates the Old Town from the New Town.

Stop 6: 0.2 hours

One of the most important historical sites in Prague, this block of buildings, probably built in the 11th century, was originally a fortified merchants’ yard, where customs duties – ungelt – were collected.

Stop 7: 0.3 hours

Prague’s old Jewish Quarter - We discuss the uneasy past of local jewish community and the holocaust, but also "Golem of Prague" legend and more!

Stop 8: 0.2 hours

Europe's oldest active synagogue in the heart of Prague’s old jewish district.

Stop 9: 0.2 hours

Impressive 19th-century cultural venue with concert halls, art gallery and exhibition spaces, Prague’s so-called "House of arts".

Stop 10: 0.3 hours

After we criss cross the hidden streets, we get to Prague’s main historical square, where we spend some time and give you a solid overview.

Stop 11: 0.3 hours

World unique astronomical clock, we’ll describe and tell you why it’s special. It’s much more than just the each full hour time show :)

Stop 12: 0.8 hours

Enjoy the Vltava river and waterways of "Certovka" canal, this is a 45 minute boat cruise with audio commentary, free snack and drink.

Stop 13: 1.5 hours

After the boat cruise, we have approx. 1 hour long "refreshment" break. We will give you food recommendations, so you can grab the lunch before we meet again at Mostecka 4 office and continue.

Stop 14: 2 hours

The route includes such high-profile sights as the Saint Vitus Cathedral (including entry hall interior), Old Royal Palace, St. George Basilica and more, it features famous figures like Charles IV., Vaclav Havel, Rudolf II., Franz Kafka and others. These are Prague castle grounds and exteriors.
