Itinerary

Day 1: Vientiane Airport Pick-up
When you arrive at Wattay International Airport, your local driver and guide will pick you up and escort you to your hotel for the check-in. The rest of the day will be free for you to explore the city or rest at the hotel.

Day 2: Wat Si Saket, Wat Prakeo, That Luang Stupa, & Patuxay Monument
After breakfast, you will start the Vientiane city tour with a visit to Wat Si Saket. It is the oldest temple in this city with a five-tiered roof. The cloister showing 2000 Buddha sculptures, which are made of ceramic and silver, will be a highlight of the visit. The colorful structures are also worth seeing.

Day 3: Take a High Speed Train to Luang Prabang, Half Day Tour
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel and escort you to the train station to take a high speed train to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, your Luang Prabang local guide and driver will meet you and escort you to check into the hotel. After a short rest, you will be guided to visit the 110-year-old Royal Palace Museum, which once the residence of Laotian emperors and rebuilt as a museum after abolishing the monarchy. It has a splendid façade combined with Laotian and French architectural styles and lots of royal antiques, such as weapons, statues, and paintings on exhibition.

Day 4: Alms Giving Ceremony and Pak Ou Cave with Stops at Villages
In the morning, you will join the Alms Giving Ceremony in the company of your guide. You will witness people wait in line along the roadside to give monks food and indulge in a spiritual ambiance. It is a nice opportunity to get close to this traditional rite performed every day. After that, we will return to the hotel to have breakfast and then head to visit the morning Phousi Market.

Day 5: Phousi Market, Kuang Si Waterfall, & Black Hmong Ethnic Village
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel and take you to Kuang Si Falls. This biggest waterfall in Luang Prabang falls from a 100-meter-cliff from a mountain and comprises many beautiful pools at the foot of the mountain. The clean water with gurgling sounds and the blue pools form a fairy scene.
