Itinerary

Day 1: From Manaus to Negro River
Description Beginning of the journey to the Meeting of the Waters , where we will observe the Rio Negro and Solimões that together form the Amazon River. Next we will visit the January Lake, where we will see the floating houses located on a inundated area because of the the flood period of the river. After that we will visit a fair of local crafts, and ride with canoes into the lake Igapós where we can see some wild animals like monkeys, sloths, anaconda, a variety of birds and water lilies. Then we will start to fish for piranhas and other species, later we will go back to the boat to observe the sunset and to get ready to the night tour. During the night tour we will be helping capture alligators using flashlights sending bright light into their eyes. After capturing the guide will make some explanations and then the animal will be returned to its natural habitat. Dinner and Overnight on the boat.

Day 2: Solimoes River Sailing
2nd Day Wake up at 5:30 AM to enjoy the birds and local flora. Breakfast time and after that visit to the Paraiso village on where we will see the history and demonstration of the manufacture and marketing of rubber milk extracted from the rubber tree. Then stop at a beach to swim before lunch. After lunch time we will visit an indigenous community and interact with the Indians participating in a ritual and folk dancing (optional). Following the route we will continuing sailing until a property where the activity that will take place will be to camp in the jungle doing then the first contact with the forest, then we will leave for a walk on a trail, after that we will have the activity of assembling the camp fire and make preparations for an improvised barbecue dinner.

Day 3: Anavilhanas Archipelago and Return to Manaus
3rd Day Wake up at 6:00 AM for a jungle trail returning to the boat for breakfast following up the archipelago of Anavilhanas to explore its Igapós by canoe. Lunch time while we navigate crossing the Rio Negro to the point where we will make the interaction with the dolphins Tucuxi (optional). Returning to Manaus arriving at 18:00 PM approximately.
