Itinerary

Day 1: Bagan - Kanpetlet (L, D)
Chin State is located in western Myanmar. The capital of the state is Hakha. The state is a mountainous region with few transportation links. Chin State is sparsely populated and remains one of the least developed areas of the country. Our 4 days adventure is the extended trip from Bagan with 4x4 wheel drive to the southern Chin State; Fanpetal and Mind at. Mt. Victoria is the most highlight spot of our trip and it’s so great for hiking, bird watching and motorbike ride experience. Kant-Thar-Yon villages trek, visiting to the tattooed face Chin Ladies' homes, Kyar Do village trekking via unexplored trails, sitting among the Chin families, swimming at Chi Creek and a jungle trek to the wooden string bridge ends with a picnic lunch is going to be the priceless experiences. Mind at uphill drive is really exciting and we can see more Chin villages, traditional Chin houses, and the landscapes from there are stunning. Chin old lady with her world’s biggest earrings, shopping Chin fabrics at the local markets, Chin Museum visit and a sunset stop at Taung Pu Lu temple is a great combination of the fantastic Chin State Adventure trip.

Nearly 70 Chin houses with tattooed women, hunters and farmers live very peacefully in the village. Smoking pipe and Chin rice-wine are their daily basic needs and we can see they all are gathering at one of the houses by sitting together. Swimming at Chi Creek after downhill trekking is so great. Mythun or wild cows are moving around nearby Chin villages. Mountains are calling us there to trek through and after 3 hours, we’ll end up at the lower part of the rapid waterfall and little bridge.
