Itinerary
You arrive in Yerevan, and you're met by our Feel Armenia team. Welcome to Armenia!
You will be transferred to your hotel. As you will be quite tired after the flight(s), we haven't planned anything for this day. Instead, you will stay at the hotel, relax and get prepared for the upcoming days.
What is next?
Where did Christianity start? Well, it goes back to the end of the third century when Grigor the Enlightener was being torched just because he was trying to prove Christ’s existence. The place of his sufferings is Khor Virap. The monastery faces towards biblical Mount Ararat. So, we can say that everything has started from here, and then has moved to Echmiadzin.
Start the morning with Christian spirit and make your soul harmonized with your mind in Geghard monastery. The morning liturgy will be the ideal beginning for the day. The monastery dates back to the 4th century. It is one of the greatest masterpieces of Armenian architecture and culture and its might and power are just enormous. After the incredible flow of emotions, continue the route to Garni.
Yes, the trip continues. You are heading to the greenest area in Armenia, but first, savour the incredible treasure of Armenia, Lake Sevan. The Sevan is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world. On the peninsula stretching into the lake you will see the mighty monastic complex Sevanavank.
The trip starts from Yerevan, and we are heading to Ashtarak city where you will see the handful of churches. They are Karmravor, Tsiranavor, and Spitakavor. The churches date back to the 4th, 5th and 14th centuries. The names of the churches are colours. Karmravor stands for red, Tsiranavor stands for the colour of apricot, and Spitakavor stands for white. The legend about the churches is really interesting.
This is the last day of your trip. We have to say goodbye to each other with the hope of seeing you again very soon.
You will be transferred to Zvartnots International Airport.
