Pickup

Sealink connection bus departs from Adelaide Bus Station (85 Franklin Street, Adelaide) at 6:45 am. Please check-in to the Sealink bus by 6:30 am. - Time zone: Australia/Adelaide

•To get the most from our Kangaroo Island adventure tours, you need to enjoy the outdoors and hiking and be able to cope with a range of weather conditions. •A moderate fitness level is required, and you need to be prepared for walks between 2-5 kilometres on some days. •Please advise of any special dietary requirements when you book. •Bags are restricted to 1 × 15 kg backpack/soft travel bag per person, plus one small piece of hand luggage. • All passengers must complete online check-in, including a 'Fit for Travel' self-declaration to confirm they are free from illness. This is mandatory and must be completed at the latest 48 hours before departure. •This tour requires a minimum of six people to operate. In the unlikely event your departure is cancelled because minimum numbers have not been met, we will transfer all monies paid onto a future departure date. If this is not suitable, we will refund your tour price in full. • Camping accommodation is at a private property called Happiness at Antechamber Bay. Here, you can roll out your swag and camp under the stars in the camping area. The property also has a camp kitchen, bathroom and lounge facilities. It is also only a 10-minute wander down a bush track to a magical beach. •If it's too cold or wet to camp outside around the campfire, there is enough room to roll out our swags indoors in the old wine cellar where our lounge, kitchen and bathroom facilities are. •Weather conditions in Australia can change quickly, and our experienced guides will always put the safety of our passengers first and stay abreast of weather conditions. •Itinerary changes may occur to ensure we provide the best possible experience. For example, if wet or cold, your Guide may change the beach and outdoor activities on Day 1 with indoor experiences such as visiting the Lavender Farm, Island Beehive for honey tasting and False Cape Wine for wine tasting. Any itinerary changes will be communicated to the group in advance.

Day 1: Day 1: Adelaide to Kangaroo Island
Today, an early start is required to catch your SeaLink bus transfer from Adelaide CBD to the ferry terminal at Cape Jervis.

Camping is at a private bushland property called “Happiness” at Antechamber Bay.

Day 2: Kangaroo Island
Today, we'll set our coordinates for the iconic Flinders Chase National Park, located at the northwestern point of the island. This park is renowned for its rock formations, impressive beaches, and abundant wildlife. At Admirals Arch, wander along a boardwalk as you soak up the serenity and keep your eyes peeled for the resident New Zealand fur seals. Marvel at the Remarkable Rocks, shaped by nature for over 500 million years. Take a bush walk at Weirs Cove before a picnic lunch to refuel.

Day 3: Day 3: Kangaroo Island to Adelaide
Start the final day of your tour with a morning bush walk not far from camp, and after packing up, we'll bid farewell to Happiness. Along the quiet north coast of the island, find spectacular bird life in the lagoon's shallow, calm waters and trees. Here, we will find a spot to have our final meal together, followed by a nice stroll along the water, looking for the many different species that inhabit the American River. In the warmer months, weave your way through a labyrinth of caves before emerging at the beach voted best in Australia in 2023 – Stokes Bay. If the weather is right, enjoy some free time to snorkel among the rock pools or soak up the surrounding landscape.
