Complete package that invites you to discover the entire history and legacy of the culture of the Chachapoya, starting in the millennial village of Huancas, with its wonderful landscapes and living culture, travel the quiet streets of Chachapoyas, city that retains its natural and traditional charm, and if it is archaeology we will explore the grandiose past of the enigmatic and monumental fortress of Kuelap that awaits among its stone walls more than 1500 years of history to discover. Revash and Karajía will take you to a world of questions, these tombs are a challenge to vertigo, built amid vertical and inaccessible cliffs and that resist time and are the eternal guardians of the mummified bodies of the ancient rulers of the Chachapoya, as well as the Leymebamba museum, where an interesting collection of more than 219 mummies in good condition are displayed, completing this exciting trip we will visit the Gocta Falls.

Itinerary

Day 1: Chachapoyas city tour, viewpoint circuit and experience

Reception at Chachapoyas airport transfer and installation in hotel, rest of the morning free for rest and acclimatization.

Day 2: Kuelap fortress in cable car

09:50 hours.- We will pick you up from your hotel and begin the transfer to the fortified citadel of Kuelap, en route we will observe the archaeological site of Macro, whose walls are decorated with rhomboid and zigzag friezes, continuing with the journey we will arrive at the village of Nuevo Tingo, where we will pause to hire our lunch and then continue to the boarding station where we will board the bus that will transfer us to the cable cars, after 22 minutes of travel in the cable cars, we will arrive at the tourist stop of Malca, from there we will begin a walk of about 30 minutes to Kuelap, we will walk through its narrow passageways flanked by circular houses decorated with stone friezes, ceremonial sites, tombs hidden between its walls, is spectacular the size of the walls that protect the citadel that can reach up to 20 meters high, after lunch we will begin the return to the city of Chachapoyas.

Lunch:

Day 3: Sarcophagi of Karajía and the cavern of Quiocta

09:00 hours.- Starting from Chachapoyas, we will travel to the town of Cruzpata, from here we begin a 30 minute walk (downhill) until we reach the anthropomorphic sarcophagi of Karajía, set of statues nestled in the middle of an inaccessible cliff and that keep for centuries the mummified bodies of the most important rulers of what was the pre-Inca culture of the Chachapoya, after visiting the place, enjoyed the explanation of the guide, and taking the photographs for the memory, we will start returning to our vehicle and then move to the city of Lamud, where we will have lunch.

Lunch:

Day 4: Revash Museums and Leymebamba Museum

8:00 hours.- We will pick them up from your hotel and begin the transfer to the town of San Bartolo to visit Revash, a funeral center made up of rectangular constructions of up to three floors that served to place the mummified bodies of the most important characters of the culture of the Chachapoya, the walls of these funeral houses have decorations like niches of cruciform, quadrangular shapes and the "T" shape of it present decorations like cave paintings of figures of humans and animals that adorn both the walls of the "chullpas" and the rocks that circulate to the constructions, guided tour and photo session in the place then we will return to our vehicle and begin the journey towards our next destination.

Lunch:

Day 5: Gocta Falls

09:00 hours.- At the indicated time we will pick you up from your hotel and leave for the village of Cocachimba 45 kilometers distant from Chachapoyas, after an hour of travel we will arrive to the village of Cocachimba, there we will visit a restaurant to reserve our lunch, then we will start the walk of about 5 km, (about 2:00 hours approximately per stretch) to the Gocta Falls.

Lunch:

Day 6: Transfer airport of Chachapoyas.

Transfer to Chachapoyas airport at the appropriate time. END OF SERVICES.
