Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok
Welcome to Thailand! Our driver will pick you up from the airport and from here you will make your way to the hotel. Today is free at leisure to rest from the flight and get used to the time difference. Day 2: Bangkok Citytour
After breakfast, it's time to check out Bangkok's major attractions. A visit to one of the most characteristic buildings of the city should not be missed: the royal palace with Wat Phra Kaew temple. This temple houses the Emerald Buddha. Although this Buddha measures only 66 cm, it is the most important religious symbol for the Thai.

Day 3: Free day in Bangkok
This day is at your leisure. Discover Bangkok independently or, for example, get on a bicycle and experience the real Bangkok! The Thai are waving happily while you almost cycle through their living rooms, there is cooking everywhere and children play. Then you cross the water by boat. On the other side of the river it is quiet and beautifully green; a completely different world. There are concrete paths that lead along fruit plantations. An experience not to be missed! In the evening it is possible to visit the extravagant Calypso Cabaret Show. This dance and music comedy show is performed by ladyboys and has been a household name in Bangkok for years and guarantees a successful night out.

Day 4: Bangkok - Khao Yai
After breakfast, exchange Bangkok for Khao Yai National Park. The largest and oldest national park in Thailand is only a 3-hour drive from Bangkok. It is the habitat of many wild animals, including elephants and some tigers. Upon arrival at the park it is time to stretch your legs and take a nice walk. After lunch you will visit the Haew Suwat waterfall. This national park is well known for a scene from The Beach! In the film, Leonardo Di Caprio jumps from this waterfall: a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature surrounding us. After the waterfalls you will visit the highest point of Khao Yai, called Khao Kiaw, where you can enjoy the spectacular view.

Day 5: Khao Yai – Ayutthaya – Kanchanaburi
In the early morning you will leave for Ayutthaya, the city that was the capital of Thailand for 400 years. There are many ancient temples in this city, many of which have unfortunately been destroyed by the Burmese. You will visit some temples and ruins that the city has, so you get a good impression of what the city once looked like. A lunch stop is also made. You continue your journey to another historically important city: Kanchanaburi. The city is located near the Burmese border. During the Second World War, thousands of prisoners of war were forced to build the Burma Railway under the coercion of the Japanese. Thousands of prisoners of war have died as working conditions were dire and tropical diseases erupted. This is the reason that the Burma Railway has been nicknamed "Death Railway". The first stop in Kanchanaburi is the JEATH war museum, which is built in the form of a Japanese camp. The theme of the museum is the construction of the death railway in 1942 and 1943. JEATH stands for Japan, England, Australia, Thailand and Holland. These nationalities were most involved in the construction of the controversial Burma Railway. After the museum you will visit "The Bridge over the River Kwai". The bridge has been bombed several times in the past. This is clearly visible in the places where the round parts have been replaced by rectangular parts. At the moment the bridge is still in use and if you are lucky you will see one of the trains moving slowly over the bridge.

Day 6: Erawan Waterfalls
After a delicious breakfast you will leave for the Erawan waterfalls. Here the water finds its way down through seven plateaus. We personally think the fifth plateau is the most beautiful. It is a bit of a climb, but definitely worth it. Afterwards it is wonderful to cool down in the crystal clear water (so don't forget your swimwear). The Erawan waterfalls are loved not only by humans, but also by animals. Many birds live there and screaming macaques swing wildly in the trees.

After breakfast it's time to go to your next destination: Hua Hin. On the way you will visit the Floating Market and the train market. As soon as you are close to the floating market Damnuern Saduak, you exchange the (mini) bus for a longtail boat. With this boat you will cruise through a beautiful green oasis to the floating market. Along the way you pass authentic houses on stilts. Once you arrive at the floating market you will enter a different world. Even early in the morning, negotiations are already underway to find the right price. The Thai skilfully navigate their boats with all kinds of merchandise. Stroll around the market and don't forget your camera.

For example, it is possible to go horseback riding on the beach. Or hit a ball on the golf course! There is also plenty to do in the evening. Hua Hin has many restaurants, from international to local Thai. But what the place is most famous for is the many fish restaurants.
