Travel 230 km south to Gjirokastra, famed for its well-preserved Ottoman architecture and fertile agricultural lands. Enjoy scenic views of Albania’s countryside and follow the Vjosa River, one of the region’s few untamed rivers, along the way.
Overnight in Gjirokastra
We leave Gjirokastra in the morning to visit the Nature Park of Blue Eye , it is possible to take a touristy train for 3 euro one way or have a walk for 15-20 minutes in the nature park to reach the Blue Eye spring .
