And have a perfect closure for your trip in an incredible beachside paradise: Rio de Janeiro, where you will see the best of its colourful and charming landscape. You will admire the green mountains and the Pão de Açúcar (Sugar Loaf) rising from the sea, the Botanical Garden with one of the largest collections of plants in the world and Corcovado Mountain. Please check with the Brazilian Consulate to ensure that you have the appropriate visa before traveling or you will not be allowed to enter Brazil. For example- US citizens, Canadians & Australians (as well as other nationalities) need a visa to visit the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls

Itinerary

Day 1: Buenos Aires
Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you’ll be met at the airport by one of our Destination Hosts and have a private transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Buenos Aires: City Tour & Tango Show
In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel to enjoy a 3-hour City Tour (shared service). Throughout the tour, you will have the chance to do sightseeing around the historical and political center of the city accompanied by a bilingual guide: May Square, San Telmo with its cobblestone streets, La Boca where Buenos Aires turns colorful and tango is ever-present, and the chic and aristocratic Recoleta, where the big palaces remind us that Buenos Aires was once the “Paris of the South”. After some stops on different attractions, you will be driven back to your hotel around noon time and will have the rest of the afternoon free to enjoy as you wish.

Day 3: Buenos Aires / Puerto Iguazú
At the appropriate time, you will have a private transfer from your hotel to the domestic airport in order to take your flight to Puerto Iguazu.

Day 4: Puerto Iguazu - Full-Day Iguazu National Park: Argentine Side
After breakfast, we will pick you up and drive you on a full-day shared tour to the world-famous Iguazu National Park located on the Argentine side of the falls. The Iguazu Falls are one of the most spectacular natural attractions in South America and the world. These 275 waterfalls were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The innumerable footbridges will allow you to get close to the waterfalls until your face gets softly wet.

Day 5: Puerto Iguazu - Half-Day Iguazu National Park: Brazilian Side
At the appropriate time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Iguazú to enjoy a half-day shared tour to the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls. Bear in mind that you will cross the Brazilian border, so don’t forget your passport! Today, be ready to take in vast panoramic views! (entrance fee not included). **Time spent at the international border can vary.

Day 6: Puerto Iguazú / Río de Janeiro
At the appropriate time, you will have a shared transfer from your hotel to the airport to take your next flight to Rio de Janeiro (Puerto Iguazú Airport on the Argentinian side or Foz do Iguaçu Airport on the Brazilian side).

Today, get ready to visit the most beautiful postcard of Rio de Janeiro: Christ the Redeemer statue at Corcovado mountain (private service).

Day 8: Rio de Janeiro - Day at Leisure
Today you will have the day at leisure to explore the city. **OPTIONAL (additional cost): Half-Day City Tour with Santa Teresa by Jeep. The city tour allows you to get a panoramic view of the Sugar Loaf Mountain, the beaches of Urca, Botafogo and all the beauty of Flamengo and its gardens, as well as the view of Niterói, the city on the other side of the bay. Also, it goes through the Historic Center of Río de Janeiro by jeep, passing by monasteries, churches, cultural centers, centennial plazas and iconic churches. Plus in Santa Teresa, you have the opportunity to visit the colorful Selaron Staircase, the winding alleys with colorful old houses and glimpse with panoramas of the beautiful Guanabara Bay!
