Tour Overview

Together with a team consisting of jungle survival instructors and guides. We will venture deep into the rainforest and teach you the skills needed to survive the jungle. Our participants are taught all aspects of jungle survival. We will take you through a comprehensive survival course teaching fire making, fishing, using a machete, bow, and arrow, and building shelter until the grand finale. Ultimately participants are being left alone with a simple set of tools to survive until the evacuation.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Georgetown
The group met up at a hotel in Georgetown, the capital. The first night we meet each other and make sure to have time for any last questions and queries before departure into the interior.

Day 2: Take off to the interior
In the morning we go to Ogle airport where after check-in we will get into a small prop plane. From the moment we fly away from the capital one will truly see why Guyana is one of the most forest-covered countries in the world. The rainforest stretches down to the little village of Surama where we will land. Once out of the plane we will be collected and taken to the nearby Eco lodge. At the lodge, we will be introduced to the staff and after lunch, all participants will be equipped with hammocks, machetes, rucksacks among many others. At night we relax and enjoy the amazing view over the Rainforest we are about to visit the following day.

Day 3: Rock landing training camp
Early in the morning we leave the Ecolodge and walk to our first base. This place has simple buildings and facilities and here will be the initial learning and introduction to the forest.

Day 4: Rock landing training camp
Firstly, are all the basics such as fire-making, getting clean drinking water, setting up hammock systems, using machetes, bow, and arrow, fishing among many other things. There will be teaching in theoretical subjects such as survival psychology, dangers and hazards of the jungle, and getting to know the wildlife.

Day 5: Rock landing training camp
All the practical and theoretical foundation is created here and is getting all participants ready to travel even further into the jungle to experience the ultimate survival scenario.

Day 6: Rock landing training camp
Final day of travelling and prepping with individualized training and one to one sessions with instructors.

Day 7: Expedition phase
After training and getting comfortable in the jungle we pack up our camp and travel even further into the forest. From here we must create our setting and camp. This means that all participants take part in running the camp and maintaining life. Making bush latrines, getting water, firewood and making sure that we effectively live and thrive in the jungle.

Day 8: Expedition phase
We will learn to make shelter, basic navigation, more advanced fishing theory, and as well get the safety and protocols in place for the isolation phase. All this while as well getting all the final touches on all the basics we already have been going through.

Day 9: Isolation Phase
We pack up the kit and all participants will be carried to their isolation spot for the next couple of days. With only a few and selected tools allowed such as machete, bow and arrow, water bottle, fire kit, and fishing kit will the guest be left alone to survive until extraction. Make your shelter, fire, and establish routines that ensure that you can get water to drink and fish to eat.

Day 10: Isolation Phase
The battle of the mind and the long nights will truly show what you are capable of. Can you make it work? Do you have what it takes to survive the jungle?

Day 11: Getting out alive
Sometime during the day, the rescue team will come and save you! When it happens, the whole team will move out back towards the lodge. We finish the experience with great food and a party celebrating our accomplishments together.

Day 12: Back to Georgetown
The following day we travel back to the capital Georgetown and have one final night out in town.

On the final day, we say goodbye and the participants continue their travel either home or to their next destination.
