Tour Overview

Day 2: Lake Enriquillo and Isla Cabritos
We will start this tour as early as possible as it is a full day tour. The Guides and Staff of Larimar Ecotour will give you a warm welcome to the tour and will briefly explain what you will experience on this adventure to Lake Enriquillo and Isla Cabritos.

Day 5: Oviedo Lagoon + Salado Stream
Arrival at Laguna de Oviedo, a coastal lagoon where you can take a boat tour and observe the local fauna and flora, including pink flamingos. Oviedo Lagoon, located in the heart of the Jaragua National Park (Pedernales), an oasis for migratory birds, rhinoceros iguanas, plant varieties and local communities. Observation of the four species of mangroves (red mangrove, black mangrove, white mangrove), flamingos, spoonbills, mangrove canaries, several species of herons, terns and many others. In addition to being an impressive place to observe the local fauna and flora, the Oviedo Lagoon also offers the opportunity to enjoy a natural mud bath.
