The Christ Church (or Christuskirche) is a Lutheran church in centre of Windhoek, and has become one of the most iconic landmarks for the city. Here you will have the chance to learn about the fascinating history of this church, and time permitting, look inside.
One of the most beautiful (and green) gardens in Windhoek lies at the base of the Tintenpalast, Namibia's Parliament Building in the city centre. The gardens itself are now home to 3 statues of iconic who were instrumental in gaining Namibia's independence. This old fort is said to be Windhoek's very first building, and was used by the German army to defend their hold on the city. In more recent times, it was a museum, but now stands empty, however it's rich history still make it worth a visit.
