Itinerary

Stop 1: 0.3 hours
Pula Arena is this city's most important monument. It was built in the 1st century AD and it held gladiator games and is believed that the arena could hold about 20.000 spectators. (Outside visit)
Stop 2: 0.1 hours
Once an imposing entrance to the city and nowadays arches above the path to reach the Archeological museum and the castle.
Stop 3: 0.2 hours
In the 1950' when the park was established this place was one of the most important city intersections, it still is known as one, especially among young people who gather here in the evening.
Stop 4: 0.2 hours
This square is situated just below the central hill and still presents the city's main square. This was the center of city life in Roman times; to be fair, even today it is a legislative and administrative center of the city.
Stop 5: 0.2 hours
Square gets famous by the Italian poet Dante Alighieri.
Stop 6: 0.2 hours
Erected in 1 century by an important Sergi family who honored their family members this memorable sight was constructed in Corinthian style. Today gates and the square play an important role in the culture of Pula as there are numerous theatrical, musical, and other performances taking place here.
Stop 7: 0.2 hours
The Gate of Hercules was built in Roman times. They are located between two medieval towers. Right through these gates, Romans have been entering the city, and we end up our tour soon after this stop.
