Itinerary

Stop 1:
Start your tour at Bunbeg Harbour which was created in the late 1830s to encourage fishing in the local area.
Stop 2:
Visit this abandoned village of stone cottages that were once home to families during the Great Famine in Ireland in the 19th century.
Stop 3:
Stop at the viewpoint of the Poisoned Glen. At the entrance to The Poisoned Glen one such stone stands, and it is said to be the poisoned eye of Balor.
Stop 4:
A beautiful building which is a lasting memorial to a great love affair between James Russell, the landlord of the Dunlewey estate, and his wife Jane.
Stop 5:
Cycle over a dam that separates Lough Nacung and Dunlewy Lough
Stop 6:
Shipwreck of Bád Eddie, meaning Eddie's Boat, ran aground in 1977 during a storm
