Itinerary

Stop 1: 1 hours
So, what's tickling your fancy today? looking for the road less traveled in Petra, are we? Fancy a sneak peek at what that hidden path looks like? An experience led by a local guide. This tour begins from the Petra visitors center. An experience led by a local guide. This tour begins from the Petra visitors center and includes a 20-minute car drive to the back entrance into Petra located in the vicinity of Al Bayda. From there we will begin walk & hike to the Monastery. With wild landscapes and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, you will feel as if you have Petra all to yourself. Once we reach the Monastery there are many Nabatean caves, tombs, and carvings to explore surrounding the monument. If you climb off the ground level, the views are breath-taking and gives an opportunity to take beautiful photos in the iconic cave door opposite the Monastery.
Stop 2:
After enjoying the Monastery and the surrounding, The tour will then take us down where we may have buffet lunch at the Basin restaurant or a bite somewhere else. Afterwards we will be seeing Qaser Albent and enjoy the views overlooking the colonnaded street and the great temple.
Stop 3:
The street represents an original Nabataean creation, later refurbished during the period of Roman occupation. It would have been one of the principal shopping streets of ancient Petra. The street was rebuilt in 106 BC with a width of 6 meters.
Stop 4:
Perched above Petra's heart, the "Royal Tombs" stand tall, a majestic collection of grand mausoleums carved into the western face of the Jabal al-Khubtha rock massif, their stunning facades a testament to ancient craftsmanship.
Stop 5:
Thereafter to the theater which was carved into th e side of the mountain at the foot of the High Place of Sacrifice, the theatre consists of three rows of seats separated by passageways. Seven stairways ascend the audi torium and it can accommodate 4000 spectators. the monument was carved in the mountainside during the reign of King Aretas IV (4BC-AD27) the Romans rebuilt the stage back wall.
Stop 6: 0.5 hours
Final stop (This is where the tour ends for guests before exiting through the main Siq) .After The Theater, We then setout toward the Treasury, or Al Khazna. It is almost 40 meters high and intricately decorated with Corinthian capitals, friezes, figures and more. The Treasury is crowned by a funerary urn, which according to local legend conceals a pharaoh’s treasure. Although the original function is still a mystery, The Treasury was probably constructed in the 1st century BC, However, in reality the urn represented a memorial for royalty. The Treasury consists of two floors with a width of 25.30 meters and a height of 39.1 meters. Here, we say goodbye, hoping this journey through history, nature, and wonder stays with you forever.
Stop 7: 0.8 hours
After Enjoying the treasury, We end our day walking to the visitor center through The Siq, which is the main road that leads to the city, starts from the Dam and ends at the Treasury. It is a rock canal that measures 160 meters in length, 3 to 12 meters in width and reaches up to 80 meters in height. The main part of the Siq is created by natural rock formation and the rest is carved by the Nabataeans.
