You’ll discover the startling changes of scenery in the alpine wilderness of Cradle Mountain, and the pristine sands of Tasmania’s East Coast, at the Bay of Fires, Wineglass Bay, and Freycinet National Park. Eco-certified and active, this small group tour of Tasmania offers a diversity of outstanding short walks in National Parks to suit your fitness level.

In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund • Comfortable walking shoes are recommended • Minimum age is 8 years • Transport provided in comfortable minivans that can seat up to 24 total • Motels are 3.5-4 star levels, clean with ensuite bathrooms. Hotel pickups commence approximately 30 - 60 minutes prior to this time, exact pickup time will be advised on reconfirmation.

Itinerary

Day 1: Hobart to Strahan
We'll walk amongst some of the worlds tallest trees on the 'Tall Trees' walk finishing off with the star attraction - Russell Falls.

Overnight at Strahan Backpackers (Hostel accommodation options) and Motel Strahan (Motel accommodation options)

Day 2: Wild West Coast
After spending the evening in Strahan we have more time to explore the harbour-side village with a dark and fascinating convict past set on the edge of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area.

Day 3: Cradle Mountain to Launceston
Here it is! Tasmania's big-ticket item and every hiker's dream. Will you take on the climb to Marion's Lookout or opt to meander around the glacial carved Dove Lake? With luck we may see a wombat or two at Ronny Creek.

Day 4: Launceston to Bicheno
Enjoy time to explore the beautiful unique Cataract Gorge Reserve. This unique natural formation located just minutes from central Launceston has walking tracks, the world's longest single-span chairlift, a restaurant, cafe, a suspension bridge, panoramic lookouts with spectacular views, a swimming pool as well as native wildlife.

Day 5: Bicheno to Hobart
Here it is, the world famous Freycinet National Park. We beat the crowds by arriving early to explore this paradise. Walk to the lookout for panoramic views over Wineglass Bay. Then you can choose to relax at Wineglass Bay beach, or if you a looking for something a little more adventurous, choose the challenging climb of Mt Amos or take a beach walk.
