Itinerary

Day 1: Departure from Lomé to Kpalimé
Departure from Lomé for a one and a half hour journey towards Kpalimé. We will begin our ascent by car to the village of Kebo Djigbé, perched on the slopes of the mountain, offering a magnificent view of the region. A short hike through the village will take us to the summit of Agou. Now is the perfect time to get out your cameras and capture the view. Hopefully, you'll have the opportunity to interact with local residents and meet the village chief to ask questions. The climate on Pic d'Agou is so pleasant that you will want to stay there all day. The journey to the summit of Mount Agou is an exciting adventure through dense forests and steep hills. Along the way, you'll discover a rich diversity of flora and fauna, including birds, butterflies and, if you're lucky, monkeys.
Day 2: City tour of Lomé, Agbodrafo, Togoville and Aného
Start your day with a visit to the Palace of Governors of Lomé. an iconic building that represents the historical past and heritage of the country. This historic structure served as the residence of German governors during the colonial period when Togo was under German rule. Built in the early 20th century, the palace features a mix of architectural styles reflecting both European influences and local know-how.
Day 3: City tour of Ouidah, Ganvie and Cotonou
Early in the morning, we will leave for the town of Ouidah where you will visit the Sacred Forest of Kpassè, a place full of mystery and spirituality. This forest is revered as a sacred site in the Vodou tradition and serves as an important place of worship for followers of this religious practice. In the Sacred Forest of Kpassè, visitors can explore ancient trees, altars dedicated to Vodou deities and ritual sculptures. It is a place where nature and spirituality converge, offering visitors a unique and immersive experience. Local guides can share stories and legends related to the forest, explaining its significance in the practice of Vodou and its role in religious ceremonies. It is a place where a special atmosphere prevails, conducive to reflection and discovery of the cultural traditions of Benin. The Sacred Forest of Kpassè bears witness to the richness and diversity of the country's spiritual heritage.
