Itinerary

Stop 1: 0.5 hours
Dongjangdae Command Post, nicknamed Yeonmudae, is open on all sides and is a great place to see the fortress at a glance. However, Yeonmudae was not used for surveillance but was a historical place where military officials practiced martial arts during the Joseon Dynasty. You can spend a moment to feel the bravery of the military officials of the past.
Stop 2: 0.5 hours
The Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion, located in Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, is an exhibition building, but also functions as a pavilion built with stone and wood. Take the unforgettable pictures with Banghwasuryujeong and Yongyeon as the background, which are popular photo spots on social media these days.
Stop 3: 0.8 hours
In Suwon fried chicken street, you can find whole chicken cooked in cast-iron pot, which is very popular among locals. This is also an opportunity to actually taste the fried chicken that was featured in the Korean movie "Extreme Job"
Stop 4: 0.3 hours
People say it is impossible to tell which of the 40 or more snack bars in Jidong Market is the best and that every snack bar serves great food. You can choose and try 3 kinds of food in the market, and pick the best one that you like among the 40+ snack bars. The outside of the market that was designed to look similar to the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress makes you feel like you are browsing the market inside the fortress.
Stop 5: 0.7 hours
It's time for traditional tea! Jehocha tea is the tea made by brewing dark smoked plum (omae) for a long time. It is known to lower fever and help digestion. Don’t miss the hidden stories of Jehocha tea and Crown Prince Sado.
Stop 6: 0.2 hours
We visit Food Master's workshop and cafe and taste Suwon Yakgwa which is Korean Traditional Sweets from Royal Court Style.
Stop 7: 0.1 hours
You do not enter the palace however, the guide will explain the brief introductions to the palace and end the tour.
