Welcome! We're absolutely thrilled to have you join us on an incredible adventure in Antigua Guatemala! Our journey begins with us picking you up from your hotel lobby. Don't forget to have a fulfilling breakfast and pack a snack for later. We'll embark on a picturesque one-hour drive, taking us to the charming village of La Soledad, nestled on the Pacific slope of the magnificent Acatenango Volcano.

Day 2: Summit of Acatenango Volcano & Return to Antigua Guatemala

Rise and shine! The morning greets us with excitement as we enjoy a nourishing camp breakfast. Gear up for the highlight of our journey – the ascent to the summit! Brace yourself for a thrilling 90-minute climb on a trail adorned with sand, gravel, dwarf pine trees, and alpine mosses. As we make our way to the rocky summit, be prepared to witness the power and beauty of nature at its finest. Once we reach the summit, get ready for a breathtaking spectacle! Take a well-deserved break and revel in the unparalleled 360-degree views of the Guatemalan highlands stretching all the way to the Mexican border. As we bid farewell to the summit, our group begins the three-hour descent back towards La Soledad. But fear not, this journey is as enchanting as the ascent itself. You'll experience different microclimates and traverse beautiful trails, allowing you to immerse yourself even more in the wonders of Acatenango Volcano.
