Itinerary

Stop 1: 0.5 hours
Sightseeing walk through Central Square. Houses built in the Renaissance style of the Soviets. This unique project was meant to be a model Communist city.
Stop 2: 0.1 hours
A quick visit to the local 1950s shop features unique souvenirs and a distinctly Socialist interior. (Open Monday to Friday only)
Stop 3: 0.5 hours
Refreshments in an old-fashioned restaurant. Our local, laid-back Crazy Guide will show you old pictures and explain the history of the Nowa Huta district. Pierogi lunch. (deluxe option only)
Stop 4: 0.3 hours
Stop at the entrance gate and famous administrative buildings of the former Lenin Steelworks. A guided visit to the original Cold War 'Head Command Post' bunker (the crisis management shelter). (Deluxe option only)
Stop 5: 0.1 hours
Stop to take a picture in front of the Soviet IS-2 tank from WW2.
Stop 6:
When time allows and traffic is favourable, we take a moment for a photo in front of the renowned Lord's Ark Church in Nowa Huta.
