Tour Overview

There are three branches of the Great Silk Road along Tajikistan: 1) North / Sogdian stretches between Samarkand (Uzbekistan) and Kashgar (China); 2) West–East / Karotegin stretches between Termez (Uzbekistan) and Kashgar (China); 3) South / Pamir stretches between Termez (Uzbekistan) and Tashkent (China). These ancient routes were formed by the Persian, Greek, Chinese and Arab peoples, who made a huge contribution to the socio–economic relations — trade and culture of the whole world between the V – XII centuries. In order to learn more about the contribution of this way to the culture and civilization of the Tajik people, there will be presented a tour package “Great Silk Road in Tajikistan”

Day 5: Countinue the road to Gharm and Tojikobod
Darai Kamarob, including fishing – Navobod town GARM is an urban-type settlement. In the past, the city and the regional center of Karotegin, the Bekian Mountain, which is part of the Bukhara khanate, was on the Great Silk Road. There was a large Bazaar in the city. Rasht District or Nohiyai Rasht formerly called Gharm District, is an eastern district in the Region of Republican Subordination in Tajikistan. Day 7: From Vahdat to Dushanbe
Central town of Vahdat – sanatorium “Tundikul” Vahdat – one the largest region of Tajikistan and the administrative center of the city of Vahdat is located 20 km. east of the capital city (Dushanbe). Vahdat formed on September 17, 1927 as the Yangi-Bazarsky area and is one of the developed and prosperous regions of Tajikistan where you can successfully enter the business, including in the areas of agriculture, trade, construction and processing of fruits and vegetables, animal husbandry, and so on. Reserve is reached by taking the main road east to Vahdat (Kafirnihan), a small post-industrial town. Tundikul— health resort at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level. Healing spring, which is formed in the lower gorges in the river, it attracted the attention of the masses of people for the purpose of treatment and restoration of health. End of the tour: return to Dushanbe.
