The trip from Johannesburg usually lasts 4-5 hours to Madikwe, passing through the northern part of the country near to the Botswana border. Our destination is famously known as One Of Malaria Free Nature Reserve and being the most intimate park in South Africa as only Pre-authorized guests are allowed in. Here the public are not allowed to embark on self-drives, so only booked guests may enjoy the abundance of scenery and wildlife for their own leisure. Spending 2 nights and 3 days here will surely return a multitude of memories and sense of awe – this wilderness is a modern South African success story that brings conservation to the fore.

Itinerary

Day 1: From Johannesburg / Pretoria to Madikwe

Leaving the metropolis of Johannesburg, our journey to Madikwe Game Reserve takes around 4-5 hours. We will arrive in the afternoon and briefly get to settle in at the lodge before we depart on our first real Madikwe encounter.

Overnight Accommodation in luxury en-suite rooms.

Lunch: Lunch is at own expense.

Dinner: Dinner will be served in the Evening after the Safari Drive..(DINNER INCLUDED)

Day 2: Early Morning Safari Drive

Today we’re up early, before dawn, where we will enjoy a quick tea or coffee before heading out on our second game drive. This is an ideal time in which to observe animals as they are most active during this period, getting in some good viewing before the midday heat sets in.

Accommodation in luxury en-suite rooms.

Breakfast: Breakfast awaits us upon our arrival back at the lodge.(Breakfast Included)

Lunch: A hearty lunch Will be served and a bit more relaxation before embarking on an afternoon Safari Drive,(Lunch Included).

Dinner: A Good dinner Will be ready after the Safari Drive and You will be reminiscing about the day’s sightings.Dinner Included

Day 3: Early Morning Safari Drive

Day 4: Madikwe to Johannesburg / Pretoria

Another early start sees us embarking on our final game drive through the reserve, hopefully with some memorable sightings to round off our stay.

Breakfast: Upon returning to the lodge we will enjoy breakfast before departing the lodge and Madikwe. (BREAKFAST INCLUDED)
