In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid drivers license is required.
Children 1-13 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide's snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child's safety.
2 adults share 1 snowmobile, single driving is available as supplement for adult.
If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a maximum personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour.

Meet your guide at our city office. Our pickup point in city center is located in Shopping Center Rinteenkulma, address is Koskikatu 25. Meeting time at 10:00. - Time zone: Europe/Helsinki

In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid driver’s license (class B) is required. A provisional license or a picture of the driving license won’t be accepted. The driving license must be recognizable in English. If you do not bring your driving license you won’t be able to drive a snowmobile and no refund can be offered. Meeting times and points • Meeting time at our Safari Office in Santa Claus Village, address is Joulumaantie 5, at 10:20. • Meeting time at our City Office, Shopping Center Rinteenkulma, Koskikatu 25, at 10:00. • Missed meeting time and point will result on missed safari which will not be refunded.

Itinerary

Day 1: Snowmobile to Reindeer and Husky Farms, and Northern Lights Adventure

Day 1 of your Rovaniemi adventure begins with a pickup and transfer to the Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park. After snowmobile training, enjoy a 1-hour ride through Arctic Circle forests. Visit a husky and reindeer farm for sledge rides and insights into herding life. Explore the Santa Claus Village, meet Santa, and cross the Arctic Circle. In the evening, embark on a 2-hour Northern Lights quest away from city lights. The day concludes with a return to Rovaniemi for a well-deserved rest.

Day 2: Visit the Polar Bears and Arctic Animals in Ranua Wildlifepark

On your second day, guides will pick you up in Rovaniemi for a journey to Ranua village. Explore the northernmost zoo in Finland, Ranua Wildlife Park, home to over 50 arctic species, including polar bears. The park tour, lasting around 2 hours, offers a glimpse into the local fauna. Free time for lunch is available, and you'll be transferred back to Rovaniemi to conclude the day.
