Day 1: Depart from San José, Tortuguero Canals, Museum Tour of the Turtles.

Start of the Adventure: Boat tour of the Tortuguero Canals. Your experience begins with an exciting boat trip through the majestic Tortuguero canals, surrounded by the lush vegetation of the tropical forest. As we navigate these calm waters, our expert guide will always be attentive to spot the amazing local fauna. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to observe alligators sliding among the mangroves, turtles resting on the banks, exotic birds flying over the forest canopy and, with a little luck, sloths and monkeys in the trees. Day 2: Tortuguero National Park Tour

Start the day with an unforgettable experience: a guided boat tour through the canals of Tortuguero National Park at dawn. As the sun dyes the sky with golden tones and reflections on the water, you will enjoy one of the most stunning sunrises in the world, surrounded by the lush nature of this tropical gem, home to 0.9% of the world’s biodiversity. During the tour, our expert guide will take you to discover the incredible fauna of the park, with the possibility of seeing alligators, monkeys, exotic birds and many species in their natural habitat. In addition, you will share stories, secrets and traditions of local communities, giving you an authentic perspective on life in Tortuguero. Don’t forget your camera: this tour will allow you to capture unique images of the beauty of the canals and their diverse wildlife. This tour includes the National Park tour, but the entrance ticket must be purchased on site for a cost of $3 USD per person.
