Itinerary

Day 1: Warsaw
A whole day tour of Warsaw, with visit to the Łazienki Garden for a guided walk to the Palace and the Frederick Chopin’s monument. Short break for your lunch. Next a second part of your tour including Old Town, beautifully rebuilt after World War II, with the impressive Royal Castle, seat of the kings of Poland. Here the Constitution of May 3rd was proclaimed in 1791, the second oldest constitution, after the US Chopin monument in Warsaw - tour to PolandConstitution, in the world.

Day 2: Black Madonna Sanctuary in Czestochowa
Visit to the Black Madonna Jasna Gora sanctuary in Czestochowa Gora monastery – the most important pilgrimage centre in Poland. Guided by local monk tour of Basilica, Treasury and the Museum. You will be able also to participate in the Mass.

Day 3: Krakow
Half day guided tour of Krakow including: the Main Market Square, St. Mary’s Basilica, the Cloth Hall. Next, along the Royal Route you will go to Wawel Hill with its renaissance Royal Castle and Cathedral.

Day 4: Auschwitz-Birkenau
Half-day visit to Auschwitz – Birkenau German Nazi camp built during II World War. Nowadays it is a Museum, but also the place which recalls the horrors of the Holocaust.

Day 5: Zakopane in Tatra Mountains
Tour of Zakopane, whose wooden architecture blends with the natural landscapes. Copied in other zakopane-3parts of Poland, it is known as Zakopianski Style. You will visit the Jaszczurowka Chapel, a great example of the wooden architecture in Zakopane, and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima at Krzeptowki, which was built by the people of Zakopane to thank the Lady of Fatima for saving the John Paul II Pope’ after an attempt on His life. Next, admire the breathtaking views of the Tatras from the top of Gubalowka Mountain and shop for souvenirs of arts and crafts of the Highlanders (Gorale) in the local shops.

Day 6: Tyniec Abbey and fly back home
Visit to the oldest in Poland abbein Tyniec near Krakow. Next a transfer to the Krakow airport.
