The temples of the Sun and the Moon, a religious center for the Moche culture, which developed between 100 and 900 AD. The archaeological complex shows the two large pyramids with flat tops, known as huacas.
* We walked in the Huaca de la Luna and enjoyed some unique views and above all being early and having the place just for us.
Visit the Moche Huacas Museum and appreciate the best utilitarian and ritual ceramics of the Mochicas, around 500 ceramics or huacos found in the excavations of the Huacas Sol and Luna since 1990.
It's A new and modern museum that will help us to understand the past of the Moche in northern Peru.
We visited Huanchaco Beach, unique in Peru, where tradition and culture are preserved.
Lunch time: fish, ceviche, or Creole cuisine (duck, goat, chicken, etc.).
The fishermen are ancient people who use totora reed boats for their daily fishing and who offer us an adventure on their rafts.
The most amazing place for all tourists is the great mud city of Chan Chan, capital of the Chimu Kingdom, another important culture that developed in Trujillo and established its center of power in Chan Chan, spanning 24 km and consisting of 10 palaces and temples.
We walked through the Nikan Palace, one of the 10 palaces Open for tourism.
