Itinerary

Day 1: Sarajevo / Bosnian Pyramid
Sarajevo, nestled within the greater Sarajevo valley of Bosnia, is surrounded by the Dinaric Alps and situated along the Miljacka River in the heart of Southeastern Europe and the Balkans. It is the capital city, the administrative, political, economic, social, cultural, educational and sport center of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is affected by both the continental European climate from the North, and the Mediterranean climate from the South. This historical city is rich in cultural and religious diversity.

Day 2: Zenica / Vranduk / Cardaci
City Museum of Zenica has five permanent exhibitions: Archaeological, Historical, Ethnological, Numismatic and 20th Century Media.

Day 3: Maglaj / Doboj
Maglaj is a town in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina, originated in the 14th century, has an old town with mosques, traditional houses dating back from the Ottoman Empire, and a fortress that stands as a symbol of Maglaj.

Day 4: Srebrenik / Gradacac
Srebrenik fortress is located near the town of Srebrenik, on the territory of Bosnia & Herzegovina. Currently, Srebrenik fortress is country's best-preserved medieval castle. Earliest records date back to 1333.

Day 5: Doboj / Tesanj
The archaeological department of Doboj city museum has a collection of 10,000 items covering the period from the old Stone Age through the early years of the Turkish occupation.

Day 6: Banja Luka
This beautiful and historical city surrounded by green hills, split into two by the Vrbas river. Banja Luka is the second largest city, after the capital Sarajevo, of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the capital of the Republika Srpska entity. It has a rich mixture of preserved architecture combined with a rich culture that give Banja Luka a unique charm. It's one of Bosnia's most modern and up-and-coming cities. Medieval fortress Kastel is located here in Banja Luka. The fortress is situated on the site of previous fortifications going all the way back to Roman and even pre-Roman times. The fortress is well-preserved, and is one of Banja Luka's main attractions.

Day 7: Etno Muzej Ljubacke Doline / Kljuc
Created by an inspired man that made this place to give people an idea of rural life of Serbian people. This unique place has a picturesque view of authentic huts of peasants. Here you can spot craftsmen houses, rural school and lots of items from hundreds years ago up to Yugoslavia era. You can try real home made national food in their small tavern.

Day 8: Jajce
Jajce is one of the best preserved fortified capitals of the Bosnian Kingdom, the last stronghold before to kingdom dissolved under the pressure of military advancement at the onset of Ottoman Empire takeover.

Day 9: Jajce
The Walled City of Jajce is a medieval fortified nucleus of Jajce in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with fortress high above town on top of pyramidal-shaped steep hill, enclosed with approximately 1300 meters long defensive walls.

Day 10: Scit / Mostar
Scit is small village located in central area of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The village location is notable because it's fully placed on the peninsula located in the middle of artificial lake. Scit is famous for Franciscan monastery built in the 15th century and very specific locality.

Day 11: Blagaj / Pocitelj / Mogorjelo
Blagaj has always been a place visited for its beauty, fascinating nature and history. Blagaj area is known for its diverse flora and many endemic species. Here are some national monuments that will be worth visiting besides the noteworthy Blagaj Tekke, a monastery built for the Dervish cults. The unique atmosphere at the source of the river Buna, the peace of the Dervish House and the fresh waters of Buna make it a truly special place.

Day 12: Medjugorje / Kravica
Medjugorje, with special vibe and a mild Mediterranean climate, is the largest tourist and pilgrimage site in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a popular pilgrim's destination. There are a number of religious significance places that you should visit if you are there.

Day 13: Radimlja / Stolac / Vjetrenica / Zavala
Radimlja is a main UNESCO World Heritage Site where is possible to see so called Stecci, a monumental medieval tombstones. Radimlja necropolis located near town Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is one of the most valuable monuments of the medieval period in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Day 14: Tvrdos / Trebinje
The famous Monastery Tvrdos, located about four kilometers from Trebinje, dates back to the Middle Ages and it is believed that it was founded by the Czar, Saint Constantine, and his mother Saint Helen. Today, the monastery is renowned for its wine production in hundred-year-old oak barrels and its wine cellars, one of which dates to the 15th century.

Day 15: Dobricevo / Sarajevo
On the way back to Sarajevo we will take a look on Dobricevo monastery, at half-way we will lunch in small rustic restaurant and will take a look on Sarajevo panorama from a fortress hill.
