Tour Overview

This package allows the traveler to explore Western Zambia at Kafue Park, combining with the recently open Liuwa plains. Kafue Park is the largest reserve in Zambia, and it is only region that makes the northern sector accessible. The tour ends at the Zambian side of Victoria Falls.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Lusaka
Upon arrival at the airport in Lusaka, transfer to Protea Hotel booked by your choice on bed and breakfast.

Day 2: : Kafue Park
Begin your tour with a 5-hour game drive at Kafue Park. Reach out to the heart of the banks of the Kafue River and check-in at the Mukambi lodge where you will spend your night. The lodge has four large viewing decks to observe the animals. At your observation, be served with drinks and meals. The place is not cold as there is a big campfire on the riverside and fireplace in the lounge.

Day 3: Kafue Park
Begin your tour with a 5-hour game drive at Kafue Park. Reach out to the heart of the banks of the Kafue River and check-in at the Mukambi lodge where you will spend your night. Day 4: Busanga Plains
Wake up for a game drive heading to the North of Kafue. Arrive at the Busanga plains and check-in at the Camp. Noon at leisure enjoying the actual remote of the region.

Day 5: Busanga Plains
Spend the day game driving at the plains of Busanga. Noon will be at leisure, enjoying the genuine remote of the area. Accommodation at Busanga Plains Camp.

Day 6: Busanga Plains

Day 7: Mongu
Take a 6- hour drive to Mongu. Arrive in time and check at the hotel; crossroads Hotel for accommodation. Relax at the hotel to refresh your body and mind for the onward journey tomorrow or engage in the optional activities.

Day 8: Liuwa Plains
Rise for a drive to Liuwa Plains National park. Cross pontoon and drive northwest to about 2.5 hours to reach the accessible campsite Katoyana. Set up camps and have something for lunch. Leave at noon for a game drive returning at the late hours to the camps for dinner and overnight

Rise for a drive to the south back to Mongu. Cross the river and stop at sioma falls camp for dinner and overnight.

First short tour at sioma falls before leaving for Livingstone and Victoria Falls. Depending on arrival time you will have a visit at the fall and many optional activities to choose. Dinner and overnight in Chalets at Zambezi Waterfront Lodge.

Day 14: Livingstone

Day 15: Livingstone- Departure
