Itinerary

Day 1: Dhaka
Bangladesh National Parliament is one of the must-sees of Bangladesh, an architectural masterpiece and a real accomplishment for the country. It was designed by world renowned American architect and Yale University Professor Louis I. Kahn. Originally commissioned by the Pakistanis when Bangladesh was known as East Pakistan after Partition of the Indian Sub-Continent, was meant to serve as the second seat of the national parliament. Construction of Bangladesh National Parliament started in 1964 but halted due to the Bangladeshi War of independence, and finally completed in 1982. You'll visit the exterior part of the monument.

Day 2: Dhaka - Sonargaon Old Capital - Dhaka
Sonargaon was the old capital of Bengal in the medieval period. It was an important administrative and commercial center of Bengal, and a rich maritime center. Sonargaon was the seat of the medieval Muslim rulers and governors of eastern Bengal. Different rulers from 13th century used Sonargaon as their capital. In different time, Sonargaon was the place to become the stair to the throne of Bengal for many different rulers. Sonargaon was used as a mint capital beside Gauda in medieval period. It was abandoned as capital of Bengal in 1610 by the Mughal rulers when they shifted the capital of Bengal to Jahangirnagar, which was later named Dhaka. Now a days, very few trace of the old capital is remaining in Sonargaon. Seeing the quiet little village, no one can even imagine how glorious this place once was on it’s prime time. You will visit Sonargaon most vital Area including Goaldi Mosque from 15th Century CE, the quite abandoned city Panam Nagar, Sonargaon Baro Sardar Bari and it's surroundings and Bangladesh Folk and Craft Museum. An approximate 4/5 hours required for a return trip from Dhaka.

Day 3: Bagerhat - Mongla
You'll reach Hularhat Launch terminal in the morning . Transfer to Mosque city Bagerhat for a daylong excursion. Visit the beautiful mosques of the 15th century mosque city of Bagerhat including the Sixty Dom Mosque; UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bagerhat is very important city in category of archaeology. Transfer to Mongla late in the afternoon and reach in the evening. Overnight stay in Mongla.

Day 4: The Sundarbans
The Sundarbans; Largest Mangrove Forest on Earth; UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll have a three-days excursion to the Sundarbans deep inside the forest. Glide through the narrow creeks and canals on a wooden rowboat in the quiet early morning and evening in search of the Majestic Royal Bengal Tigers and other wildlife and birds. Trek through the forest and watch wildlife from an observation tower in the evening. Note: Your forest trip with accommodation on board + Full-board meals + A Government Forest Gunman+Your Guide. Small Motorboat + Sleeping Cabin with common washroom facility.

Day 7: Khulna - Rajshahi - Puthia - Rajshahi
"Temple Village of Puthia" Depart for Rajshahi by train in the morning, arrive around noon. Visit small beautiful village of Puthia full of beautiful Hindu temples in the afternoon. Puthia is very important city in category of archaeology. Overnight stay in Rajshahi.

Day 8: RAJSHAHI - KUSUMBA - PAHARPUR - BOGRA
You'll have a full-day excursion and long drive today. Start the day with visiting the beautiful Bank of the mighty River Padma early in the morning. You may walk and take some photo. Then transfer to Saheb Bazaar; the local wholesale market of daily needs, this market is typically starts very early in the morning with a great rush and lowering before noon, here you'll see many things and have many subjects to shoot.

Day 9: BOGRA - DHAKA
MAHASTHANGARH from 3rd century BC Chars of Mighty Jamuna River Atia Mosque from Mughal Dynasty Start with visiting the ruined city of MAHASTHANGARH of the ancient PUNDRAVARDHANA kingdom, the oldest known city of Bengal from 3rd century BC. Then drive to visit the traditional life of farmers on a char (small river island) in the mighty Jamuna river, then drive to visit the beautiful Atia Mosque from 1609 CE during the reign of Mughal Empire. Note: Duration of Visit an attraction includes the respective places of interest, transfer and driving hour.
