The Sucha Bela canyon is the most favorite, beautiful and romantic places you can visit here. You will experience many ladders, standpipes, bridges and footbridges. Trips to this gorge are unforgettable experience with magical views and stunning nature. During the whole hike, the tourist pathway leads along the stream. In narrow places, there are wooden footbridges and also some ladders. You will see many waterfalls: Misové vodopády, Korytový vodopád and Okienkový vodopád. After the rain and in the beginning of spring, the level of water in streams is higher and the pathway is sometimes full of muddy sections, and rocks can be possibly slippery; therefore, it is necessary to wear high waterproof trekking boots with Vibram sole. On your way you will see many waterfalls as well. This canyon is one of the most visited; that’s why we don’t recommend hiking here in the period of summer holidays – July and August. On the other hand, the most beautiful hikes can be carried out in April and May, and during autumn.
