Itinerary

Day 1: Accra
Today we will depart shortly after pickup to Volta Region, En route, we will visit Cedi Beads, where glass bottles are recycled into beads.

Day 2: Hohoe
Today we will hike the highest mountain ‘Afadjato’ (885m above sea level) in the morning which will take about 3 hours maximum.

Day 3: Hohoe - Kumasi
We will depart Volta Region shortly after breakfast. We will visit Akosombo Dam, The biggest hydroelectric dam in Ghana located on the amazing Lake Volta that produces over 1,020MW of electrical output. We will have lunch on the lake and go on a Boat Cruise on the world’s largest man-made lake to the side view of Ghana’s hydro-electric Dam. We will depart Akosombo shortly after the boat cruise and head into Kumasi, One of the largest cities in Ghana. We will locate our Guesthouse and check in for the night

Day 4: Kumasi
Depart from our Guesthouse have breakfast and depart to Bonwire Kente Village, Bonwire is popular for Kente weaving. Kente is a colorful Ghanaian traditional fabric which is worn mostly on important occasions and celebrations. A lot of the kente cloth that we see in Ghanaian markets actually comes from Bonwire.

Day 5: Kumasi - Larabanga
We will check out from our Guesthouse have breakfast and spend the entire day travelling to Tamale. We will stop along our journey to have lunch and set off stopping at Mole national park, Ghana's largest national park and the home of the biggest elephant in Africa.

Day 6: Larabanga
We will spend the entire day today exploring the national park and what Mole is got to offer. We will go on a morning walking safari. We stand the chance of seeing wildlife’s such as monkeys, elephants, warthogs, antelopes, deer’s, buffalo's and more. We will have breakfast on return and spend the afternoon at the pool side viewing elephants and warthogs from a distance.

Day 7: Larabanga - Kumasi
We will set off early after breakfast and drive to Kumasi, En route we will visit Tamale Cultural Centre. We will proceed on journey and aim to arrive in Kumasi before dark.

Day 8: Kumasi - Accra
This morning we will have breakfast and depart Kumasi to Accra. We will drop you off at your hotel or airport
