Itinerary

Day 1: Budapesta – Arad- Timisoara
On your first day meet with your guide and set out for Romania. You'll cross the border at Arad.

Overnight at a centrally located hotel in Timisoara.

Day 2: Timisoara – Corvin Castle – Alba Iulia – Sibiu
Start fresh in the morning after breakfast with your guide and head for your first stop at Corvin Castle. Explore this gothic castle to find it’s history that lays in the walls of this place.

Overnight in centrally located hotel in Sibiu.

Breakfast:

Day 3: Sibiu – Sighisoara -Maramures
Set out in the morning for Sighisoara city where Dracula was born and overnight. Take a walking tour inside the old walls of this fairy tale town to find out the history of Dracula and Sighisoara, one of the emblematic city for Transylvanian culture.

Dinner: Enjoy a traditional dinner in Wooden House of Maramures

Day 4: Maramures Excursion
After breakfast set out in the morning for your Maramures excursion. Your first stop will be at one of the most important monasteries of the area, Barsana monastery that offers an insight of the local culture with wood carventing skills.

Dinner: Enjoy a traditional homemade dinner in a Wooden house of Maramures.

Day 5: Maramures – Tihuta pass – Voronet Monastery – Gura Humorului
Enjoy your warm breakfast and then depart for Bucovina region. On your way will reach Tihuta Pass which offers a great view over Bucovina region. Reach in Gura Humorului and first see the Voronet Monastery. This is one of the most famous monasteries of the area as it was built by the famous ruler of Moldova region known as Stephan the Great. During his period he has manage to build over 300 monasteries most of them situated in the region of Bucovina.

Day 6: Gura humorului – Moldovita Monastery – Sucevita Monastery – Black pottery – Gura Humorului
Start fresh in the morning after breakfast and head for Moldovita Monastery. This UNESCO Heritage monastery offers a view for those which are interested in history and religion. Join our guide to offer explanations about the paintings situated on the outside wall of the monastery.

Overnight in Gura Humorului at centrally located hotel.

Day 7: Gura humorului – Bicaz Gorge – Red lake – Brasov
Start fresh in the morning after breakfast and head for your next destination Brasov which situated in the central part of Transylvania. On the way you will pass through Bicaz Gorge and reach the Red Lake where you can have lunch ( own expense).

Overnight in Brasov at centrally located hotel.

Day 8: Brasov – Bran Castle – Peles Castle – Bucharest
In the morning you will head for Bran castle aka Dracula’s castle in order to discover this medieval castle. Tour the inside and at the end if you wish you can enjoy free time in the market in front.
