Yucatecan American family in Centro
Overview
I live with my husband, a native of Merida, our young son and daughter, 2 kitties and 2 turtles, in a colonial house we restored on the southwest side of the Centro Historico (ok, the turtles live outside). Our home is a 15 minute walk from the center of downtown, and our neighborhood is full of places to shop and eat, parks to stroll in and local culture to soak up. We are both trained chefs, so our kitchen is fully equipped to whip up anything you might find in the central market. We have a beautiful pool and many lounging areas, plus a big screen tv, wifi and bikes you are welcome to use.
House Rules
Keep all screens and doors closed to keep away Mosquitos. Please do not bring friends over without checking with us first. Discard all toilet paper in the wastebasket, not the toilet. Remember to turn off your fans, ac unit, and lights when you leave the house. You are welcome to use the kitchen, but please clean up after yourself.
