Your New Home Away From Home!
Overview
Hello! My name is Linda and my husband Don and I are a retired couple who love to meet new people from all over the world! I've previously taught English to students from Korea, Japan and China , Germany and Switzerland . In the past we have had homestay's from Indonesia, Australia, Japan, Korea and China and we are excited at the thought of having you join us also! Now that all of our kids are grown up with kids of their own, we have an empty basement that is waiting for the right guests. We have 2 bedrooms available downstairs and you will have access to the full kitchen and side entrance to the basement. You will also have access to the separate basement laundry room . We are very quiet and respectful of your privacy but we are also always around for conversation. Our home is the perfect access to local amenities , Orchard Park Mall , Costco , Mission Park Greenway , and UBC and the College . We are also on a bus route for easy access to transportation! House Rules
1) No smoking 2) No loud noises after 10pm 3) No cooking after 9:00 pm 4) Everyone is responsible to clean and tidy up after themselves especially in the common areas Living room , Kitchen , bathroom and laundry room . Your bedroom is your personal space . 5) any additional visitors to the property must be pre approved by homeowner . We use “natural” clean products for housekeeping and laundry to contribute to a more health supportive home away from home ! Any guests must be pre approved in consideration of shared living spaces .
