Hi from Kasia and Arek ! We have been married for more than 20 years and we’ve got one 20-year-old daughter who lives on her own with her husband. I (Kasia ) am an English teacher and work at a general secondary school nearby. Arek is an IT specialist and manages big projects of such brands as Cisco. We love mountain hiking, nature, good food, good coffee and dogs. We don’t smoke. Our home is a peaceful and quiet space where we relax, rest and laugh a lot. We used to be a foster family and in the last 12 years we shared our home with 8 kids who were 3-11 years old. Two years ago after the challenges imposed by the lockdown and inefficient online teaching, we burnt out and don’t feel like hosting small kids at the moment. However, we are used to having more people at home than only us two and we miss that feeling :) That is why we will gladly share our home space with teenagers or students or other other people who are looking for a long-term homestay in a place, which is close to a forest and a lake, but at the same time has a perfect public transportation system connecting us with all the towns of the Silesian region. International students coming for internships will have a 20-minute bike ride to the factories (e.g. Saint-Gobain factory).
