Overview
In our home love, laughter and friendship are always welcome. I live with my husband. We both are working. I’m a doctor and my husband is in education sector. We live in a 3 bedroom newly built apartment. With each room accommodating 2 guests. The house is good for big group or 5-8 people family. The house is surrounded by the hills, in a quiet, green and peaceful locality, with all amenities close by. It is in a gated society. From our home it is approximately 30 minutes drive to famous hill station Mussoorie. The apartment is on the main Mussoorie Road and is away from the hustle and bustle of Dehradun City. The apartment has Air Conditioning. 24 Hour Power Back up. 24 Hour Hot and Cold Water Supply. Every room has an attached bathroom and toilet. For International Guests - we can provide you internet on chargeable basis. We will provide you laundry on paid (in case the stay is more than 3 days). Your room will be cleaned daily. Smoking in the apartment is discouraged. We can provide you lunch and dinner as well. Veg/Non Veg as per your need for Rs. 300 per person per meal. The hills of Shivalik range of mountains can be seen from every room. There is supermarket nearby on distance of 5 km; local market for food and groceries is outside our apartment. You can come home late night as well but try to be in touch. The city of Dehradun is famous for its schools, boasting some of the best in the country. Our home is situated quite close to some of the major tourist attractions of the region, chief among them being the following: 1. The holy town of Haridwar is 62 km 2. The holy town of Rishikesh is 55 km 3. The popular hill resort of Mussoorie is 20 km away 4. The quiet hill station of Chakrata is 96 km away From a historical standpoint, you can visit the famed Forest Research Institute, Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, the Indian Military Academy (permission required), Robbers Cave and many more wonderful places can be covered. Hiking and trekking are major attractions of this hill state. The Rajaji National Park and the Malsi Deer Park (2 Km from our home) provide opportunities for the 'nature' minded. The Asan barrage (about 45 km away) is a resting ground for migratory birds in winters and are a delight for bird watchers. Local sightseeing can be arranged for you. Pick up from the airport / railway station is also available. Airport pickup - Rs. 1500. Airport drop - Rs. 1500. Railway Station pickup - Rs. 800. Railway Station drop - Rs. 800. Since we have traveled in most parts of the world with my husband, it gives me great pleasure to interact with my guests and give them a snapshot of our culture and hospitality. We understand language of love and speak English and Hindi. Gaurav is 36 enjoys sports, music, festivals, socializing and travel. I’m 31 and enjoy cooking, music, festivals, painting, reading, learning foreign languages, nature and science. We would be very happy if we could be of any help during / even before your stay. Please feel free to ask anything - getting around in India. With our guests, we enjoy talking, exchanging cultures and sometimes partying or eating out. May, all who come as guests leave as friends.
