Traditional Home Near The Beach
Overview
I have several rooms available in my home with myself and my dog called Pumpkin who loves to walk on the beach. Everyone is welcome to use all aspects of the house freely and to come and go as they please. It’s great to talk around the dinner table and learn about new cultures and ways of life. The house is traditionally decorated with high ceilings and original features such as a log burner in the living room which is perfect for those cosy winter nights. We are an 8 minute walk from the train station which is Blundellsands and Crosby and there is a bus stop at the top of the road. It takes 15-20 mins to get to Liverpool centre by train or car and it’s around £14 in a taxi or £5 return by train. There is a famous art installation on the local beach called Another Place which is 100 life sized iron sculptures placed in the sand and facing out to sea - 2 min drive or 10 min walk. At the top of the road are some cafes, shops and local amenities. The area is generally very quiet and very safe - you can walk about at night time. If you have any questions or would like to vIsit please get in touch. I welcome guests who are staying for longer periods and will always try and accommodate any special requests. During my time hosting with homestay, many guests have improved their English during their stay and have returned to stay again at the house which is very lovely! I am a native English speaker which means native English is spoken all of the time and creates a great environment to improve language skills. There is a weekly and monthly discount that is applied already when making your booking, this gives you the best price possible!
