The Phooldei Homestay
Overview
The Phooldei Homestay is located on Ranikhet Road, at a distance of 50 kilometres from the Dhangarhi gate of world famous Corbett National Park, from where you can easily get a glimpse of the oak, pine forests and the Himalayas. This homestay gives the feeling of home while living in the lap of nature amidst the Himalayan forests and when the sky is clear, a picturesque view of the forests and the Himalayas is visible from the verandah of the building.
House Rules
• Please bring your necessary medicines with you because sometimes special brands or specific types of medicines are not available in the local market. Apart from this, the market is located at a distance of 6 kilometers from here. • Please bring your own toiletries. • Please do not walk alone outside the property in the evening after sunset because sometimes leopards are also seen. • You are welcome to enjoy a smoke on the Veranda. • The property has stairs. • We open to the great outdoors in the lap of the forest. Birds of many colours and hues, monkeys, cows, pine martins, cats, community dogs, foxes and the leopard and bugs are residents of the area long before we came by. Please keep the door locked at night. • We urge you to avoid wearing overly trendy clothes that reveal too much of your body. Because of being close to the forest, there are many types of insects which sometimes cause allergies on the skin. Apart from this, since it is a rural environment, it can be difficult for the residents here to adjust with ultra-modern clothes. If you are dressed differently then they may stare at you. Jeans-t-shirt type clothes are good. • Do not use abusive words.
