The Kothi, village stay Near Amritsar
Overview
I live in India at the kothi, half the year and the other half in the US. My mother Mrs. Satwant Kaur Sangha lives here at the property all the time. The abode is a part of a 20th-century family house. The house is located on the edge of the village which is located on the UBDC canal, making it one of most picturesque villages in the region. The house retains its character of a traditional Punjabi Kothi - a house built with a blend of Punjabi vernacular and colonial building vocabulary. Equipped with modern day facilities. We are a specialty property where our aim is to have you experience the Panjabi life and culture. We are located in the heart of a village and surrounded by agricultural fields. Visitors partake in the punjabi life by visiting the dairy farm and getting involved in its functioning, learn punjabi food making, taking tractor, tonga or gaddha rides, visit to the nearby historical and ecological sites, mehndi art and cultivation of the seasonal crop and interactive days with the village people and more.
