Sunny Brighton
Overview
Victorian terraced house with a small, pretty garden in an area of Brighton called Preston Park. The area is fairly quiet but it's easy to walk into Brighton - approx. thirty minutes, but there are also regular buses. Preston Park station is walking distance from the house and there are local shops, cafes, pubs nearby. For those who like walking, it's also possible to walk up to the beautiful South Downs from the house. I work full time and have 3 grown up children - who don't live with me. I don't have any pets - although my brother's dog visits sometimes. The available bedroom has a small double bed, wardrobe, bookshelf and small desk and overlooks the back garden. I speak good French and am learning Spanish - so someone who spoke either of those would be great as I am keen to improve my language skills and to help anyone who is learning English, too. In terms of interests, I play tennis regularly, and am a keen walker. I also like to do yoga when I can. I also swim regularly in the sea - which you can just see from the front of the house. In terms of practical things such as payment, I prefer to be paid by bank transfer at the beginning of your stay.
House Rules
Do respect the house but feel comfortable. You are welcome to use the kitchen but please clean up after yourself. Please keep the house secure and lock doors and windows when leaving the house. Please do not bring strangers into the house. If you would like to invite a friend over, ask first. Please keep quiet after ten thirty. I provide bath towels - but not towels for the beach - so please do bring those if you plan to swim. Thank you!

Rooms
The room has a small double bed and so could accommodate a couple for a weekend. For a longer period, the room would be more suitable for 1 person because of the available storage space. The room overlooks the back garden.
