Overview
Spacious double room available in Fairhill, Cork city. It is located around 2km from the city centre. It is close to the N20 and within a short distance of both the Blackpool Shopping Centre and West Link Business Park. There are also several bus routes in Fairhill, providing links to the city centre and further afield. The house is a family home with my daughter, partner and our indoor Cat.
House Rules
Kitchen You’re very welcome to use the kitchen to prepare your own meals, and you’ll have full access to all utensils and appliances. We kindly ask that you wash your dishes straight after use and leave the kitchen clean and tidy, just as you found it. For everyone’s comfort, cooking is limited to certain hours of the day. Don’t worry, you’ll always have enough time to cook and enjoy your breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Outside of these hours, you’ll still be able to use the kitchen for essentials such as making a sandwich or accessing the fridge. Your Bedroom Your bedroom is a private space that’s fully your responsibility. Please keep it clean and tidy at all times. We also ask that you leave all shared spaces, especially the kitchen and bathroom, in the same condition you found them. Rent - Stays of 1 month or less: full rent is due on arrival. - Stays of more than 1 month: the first month’s rent is due on arrival, with weekly payments thereafter, always on the same day each week. Deposit A security deposit equal to two weeks’ rent is required on arrival. This will be returned to you at the end of your stay, provided the room is handed back in the same condition in which you received it. Low Noise Policy We have a low-noise policy between 8:00pm and 8:00am, as our child will be asleep during these hours. Please be mindful of this when watching TV, using your laptop, or speaking on the phone. Laundry You are responsible for washing your own clothes, towels, and linen. To ensure the washing machine is used economically, you may do up to two washes per week. * On dry days, please use the clothesline in the backyard. * On wet days, you can use the clothes horse indoors. No Smoking Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the house, including bedrooms. Visitors For the comfort and privacy of everyone in the household, visitors are not permitted at any time. Other Your rent includes bills (electricity, heating, internet, etc.). Please note that food, toiletries, laundry supplies, and other personal items are your own responsibility. Security & Safety For everyone’s safety, the house is equipped with Ring cameras covering the front and back of the property, as well as in our child’s bedroom. We also have smoke and carbon monoxide alarms installed on each floor of the house.
