Single room in friendly house
Overview
We have one single room available in our home for short or long stays. The room, listed as The Garden room, has a very basic separate shower and toilet, a single bed with a pull out bed underneath and a chest of draws. This room could, at a push have two people in it for a short stay only. Payment should be made by bank transfer, payment details will be given when booking has been completed. My husband is a musician and works from home in his studio, you can see his studio in the photo of the garden. I teach at a nearby college in Greenwich. I enjoy swimming and walking our dog. We go to see lots of live music and theatre. We have been hosting for many years and enjoy meeting new people and helping them navigate their way around London. Our son and partner also live in the house. We have a dog called Frankie and a cat called Skip, Both are very important members of our family and very friendly. However, if you don't like dogs or have allergies maybe best to stay elsewhere. We live on the same road as Charlton railway station with easy access to shops, parks and the O2 arena. At the end of the street are local bus routes which can get you to the Jubilee Line, cinema and lido all within 5 mins. Charlton village has a park, nice pubs and good coffee shops. There are local gyms, a swimming pool, shops and cafes all in a 5 minute walking distance. We are always on hand to help and advise, we love people staying in our home and spend a lot of time in the kitchen and garden where guests are very welcome to sit with us. We have travelled around the world and know how important it is to feel safe and secure. Bed linen and towels are provided. Use of the washing machine and all cooking appliances in the kitchen are included as well as use of the garden. Our house is your home.
