Rural retreat
Overview
I live in a secluded smallholding just ten minutes walk from the medieval town of La Souterraine, in the Creuse region of Limousin France. It is a very peaceful setting, resting on the banks of the La Seddal river, with huge oak trees, horsechestnut, walnut and fruit trees. Fishing is available, subject to licensing laws. Permits are easily obtained in La Souterraine. My home is a traditional two bedroomed former mill cottage, though sadly the mill is no longer standing. However, there are just over five acres to enjoy. I share my home with numerous animals including chickens who provide fresh eggs each day. La Souterraine offers many good restaurants, a cinema. mainline railway and most of the services you would expect of a small town. There are many beautiful towns and villages within easy reach and some breath taking countryside too.
House Rules
Simple and to the point. Just respect my home and animals, keep things tidy.
