Row House in the Woods
Overview
Located 2 hours north of Manhattan by train is my 1867 Brick Row house near the Hudson river and surrounded by woodlands. You'll wake up in a plush queen size bed surrounded by my nature-inspired artwork and watch the sunrise over the river. A cozy desk with free WiFi makes it easy to work or write in peace. The full bathroom just outside your room features a marble vanity and antique clawfoot tub. Lounge in the art-filled living room, sip coffee while flipping through books or gaze out at the woods. A breakfast nook with a fridge, coffee, and tea complements the included continental breakfast. Step outside to my lush perennial garden—home to a peaceful pond, bonsai trees and a Buddha—an ideal spot to start your day or simply breathe. During your stay, you’re welcome to unwind in the garden or if inspiration strikes join me in my downstairs studio for a hands-on art workshop. Whether it’s painting, collage, print-making or digital photography. I offer personalized sessions to help you tap into your creativity. I love sharing the beauty of the Hudson Valley with guests and look forward to making your stay a unique and memorable one!
