Room with private entrance/bath
Overview
I am retired. I own a 3bedroom, 2 bath, 1200 square foot home in Lakewood, CA. I live there with my 2 rescue dogs and also occasionally foster for some of the local rescues. I don't drink, smoke or party. Occasionally I entertain and have friends over for dinner or a bbq. My room is on the opposite part of the house from the room that is available, so there is alot of privacy for both parties. In addition to the newly furnished room with tv and patio access that is available, there is a remodeled private bathroom. There is also a microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee machine and refrigerator for the guests use only. The front and backyard, patio area, bbq and laundry room are the only shared spaces. There's street parking available except on Wednesday mornings from 8:00 until noon when the street sweeper comes.. There is a 10 speed bicycle with a basket or a beach cruiser with a basket, available for guests at an additional charge of $2 per day or $50 per month.
House Rules
Non smokers only, no drugs, no alcohol if under 21, no overnight guests, no parties, no pets, no drama.. This is my home and I am living here so be respectful, responsible, clean and courteous. Pick up after yourself. Will have only one shared space in the house which is the laundry room. Will also share the front and backyard and outside dining and seating areas which includes BBQ and patio. Parking on the street is free and is available except on Wednesdays from 8 - 12 which is street sweeping day. There is a cabinet on the patio which contains a microwave, toaster oven. and a Keurig coffee machine in guest room. Appliances can be plugged in on the outside bar and or on the patio steps. There's a refrigerator on the patio for the guest use only. There's a private entrance/exit for the guest and a private bathroom. A cleaning crew comes in once a month. It's the guest's responsibility to maintain areas in between cleaning appointments. I do have dogs so must like dogs, however they're separated from the guest area. It is a family neighborhood and during the school session primarily, most of the children are in bed early so be aware of that if you come in late.

The room has a queen size bed, tv w/cable & dvd, Internet access and WiFi. Wood floors, ceiling fan, foldable work space, closet and keurig coffee machine. French doors open to an enclosed screened in patio, fenced yard and private entrance/exit.
