Overview
This is a bedroom with balcony and a private bathroom in a spacious house, well located, away from the tourist area on a hill overlooking the center of Funchal and the ocean. In this location it feels more like living in a quiet town rather than in a city and yet you're in walking distance to the center of town (12-15 minutes walking). If you have a car, parking in the street is for free any day, anytime. Buses between the center of town and our street run between 6:20 AM and midnight. Simple breakfast provided. We are a Dutch/Portuguese couple and we will be here to welcome you. You will be sharing the kitchen, living room, dining room and gardens with us. We enjoying socializing with our guests but also respect your space and privacy. This room is only bookable at certain times of the year, please check the availability calendar.
House Rules
Not suitable for infants or children under 12. No pets allowed. No events or parties. Smoking not allowed inside the house, nor on the balconies or in the gardens. Please, shut the window and the balcony door of the bedroom upstairs each time you leave the house, because in case of rain the wooden floors could get damaged. For the same reason, please do not throw wet towels on the wooden floors. Please, keep the house keys to yourself. Never entrust them to locals or other tourists. Guests are not allowed receive or to lodge anyone else in this house during their stay. All guests will be required to show an ID identification upon check-in, this includes Portuguese citizens as well. Our Quiet Hours are between 11 PM until 8 AM.
