Quiet Heritage Home
Overview
We are a professional couple with three adult children (moved out) and a very friendly dog. We have hosted homestay students since 2000 and enjoy sharing our culture and learning from others. Our 1929 character home is in a quiet, safe neighbourhood that is close to transit, downtown, Hastings Park, and the beach. We enjoy gardening, cycling, cooking, volunteering, and traveling. We are native English speakers, but we can get by in French and Spanish if needed. We are an LGBTQ-friendly Christian family who are family-centred, warm, and considerate. We welcome guests who are thoughtful and open to others. *We do not host guests who are minors (19 years old).
House Rules
Only paying guests are allowed in our home. No smoking or drugs of any kind are allowed on the property. We do not drink more than a glass or two of wine; we expect you to use the same moderation. We work together to keep the shared spaces and house clean. If you stay more than three weeks, I may check your room monthly for general cleanliness if it's a concern. Our home is quiet from 10 pm to 7 am. We only host female guests. We do not host minors (guests under age 19).
